Coronavirus Vaccine Update
In a recent press briefing at White House, Donald Trump said, “We
think we can start sometime in October”. However, these
speculations have been surpassed by Donald Trump's administration
official that the vaccination will be available in the US by January
2021. This information has been a making round during the times when
opposition parties have been saying that the country is not prepared
for handling the situation during the winter season.
There
have been various officials who have opposed Trump's statement and
among them is Department of Health and Human Service, Dr Robert
Kadlec who emailed regarding the preparedness of the country, “is
accelerating production of safe and effective vaccines... to ensure
delivery starting January 2021.”
Also, when being asked
about the imbalance regarding the exact date the vaccine will be
delivered, the White House could not state the time but said that the
main concern of the US President, Donald Trump is to distribute the
coronavirus vaccine “as soon as possible”.
